Mr. Jor EI held his first awards show in February 2018. Within several months, he received many donations to start his nonprofit. After having succeeded in the fashion industry for over fifteen years, he decided to pursue Black Fathers Rock! full-time. In addition, he authored "Fashion and Fatherhood," in 2016, which is available via his website, as well as Amazon.com. After some time as a stay-at-home dad, Mr. Jor EI believes it is his calling to serve as a beacon of fatherhood.
Well regarded for his indelible impact on the community, Mr. Jor EI was bestowed the Carson Beckwith award from the Charlotte (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi in 2019. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Excellence in Community Award for Media from the East Charlotte STEAM Academy, and the Top 10 under 10 Award, for excellence in industry, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in 2009.
Mr. Jor EI was recognized as one of 50 Most Influential People in Charlotte in 2014, as well as one of 29 most stylish individuals for SouthparkMagazine's 2019 "It-List."
Throughout the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Jor EI assisted in feeding over 800 families. He regularly assists schools in the Charlotte region and provides vulnerable community members with such necessities as diapers and utility bill payments. He is a former weekly contributor on WCCB Charlotte and the Virtual Host for his local church.
Mr. Jor EI hopes to bring Black Fathers Rock! to a global audience and create a television program highlighting the achievements of the organization. Moreover, Mr. Jor EI hopes to continue creating engaging and inspiring content, while providing hope to a generation.
